Timamoon Lodge is both a BandB and self-catering hideout situated in the little town of Sabie, a name that’s derived from one of the African languages and actually means “fearful”. In the lovely Mpumalanga though, fear is the last thing that comes to mind. It’s love at first sight when you get wind of the natural beauty with the intertwining forests and mountains charming an unsuspecting first-timer. The accommodation contains six luxurious rooms, all with cheerful themes and different settings to get you in a relaxed mood. The quality is maintained throughout however, with things like a bar fridge, fireplace and tea/coffee. Picture yourself enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning out on the balcony with the entire plain there for your viewing. The early birds whistling and going about their business whilst the sun shakes itself out of sleep mode to brighten up your day. This is really the type of beauty you become accustomed to at the Timamoon Lodge.
