De Mond Veld Cottage is situated on the seaside front of the De Mond Farm, about 300 m before the entrance gate to Cape Nature’s De Mond Nature Reserve. The charming white cottage is amidst hectares of beautiful fynbos, especially in early spring, and has a vast variety of birds. Nature lovers will be delighted by activities such as bird watching, hiking and fishing. 180 species of birds has been identified in the area and it is also a fly fisherman’s paradise, as well as photographers and artists, who relish in the breath taking scenery and unmoved beauty. The cottage is cosy and comfortable and consists of two bedrooms and two bathrooms, one is en-suite. The cottage can accommodate 6 guests with the use of two camp beds. Pure cotton linen and towels are provided and there is a fully equipped kitchen with a stove, fridge/ freezer and microwave.
