The accommodation is situated around a central courtyard, each room has a private entrance and verandah, with pristine indigenous trees surrounding the lodge. The open end features a swimming pool with views right across to the Kruger National Park, while the west view takes in the Drakensberg and foothills from Long Tom to the three rondavels, and up the Sabi River Valley.
The two buildings on each side of the courtyard accommodate two spacious bedrooms, each with private bathroom, entrance, and verandah. The lodge is located on 33 hectares of the most diverse and unspoiled indigenous bush, offering outstanding bird life.
Ashbourne is conveniently located just 4 km from the village restaurants and pubs and 14 km from the entrance to the Kruger National Park, Ashbourne is perfectly situated to explore the Lowveld. The finest restaurant in the area is situated right next door, as is a health spa, and white water rafting, hot air ballooning, quad biking, and Africa's longest tree canopy cable slide are all within a few kilometres.
The bottom of the farm leads down to the famous Panorama Route to Sabi, Pilgrims Rest, Blyde River, and God's Window. Other attractions include two golf courses, hiking, and birdwatching.
