Thyme and Again Bed and Breakfast

Estcourt, formerly known as Bushman’s River, is a neat little town in the central Drakensberg that has a lot of historical significance. The place is home to the turf war that struck out between the Zulus and the Boer settlers, where Piet Retief was eventually killed by the then Zulu King Dingaan. Thyme and Again BandB provide the connection to your surroundings, in their comfortable accommodation, adjacent to the great Drakensberg and a water source. On arrival you are instantly taken aback by the natural charm and electric atmosphere of the place, the views are breath-taking and encouraging for outdoor activists. The scene is of a hiking region and well-known walking trails where people get to learn more about this wonderful town. Nature comes beautifully together with rocky structures, wetlands and plants, this especially at the reserves. One of those reserves is Weenen Game Reserve and the Thukela Biosphere, home to a number of animal species and wild plants.
