Cape Dutch quarters accommodation situated in Tulbagh, Cape Town, Western Cape, is our guesthouse and the jewel in The Cape Dutch Quarters's crown. Established in 1999, the guesthouse can accommodate up to twelve people in five en-suite bedrooms and suites. The guesthouse is situated in a 200-year-old manor house that was built in 1809 and retains all of its original features.Four star luxury in Tulbugh.
The guesthouse manor is a classic 'H-shaped' house, the
epitome of grand Cape Dutch living, and has been beautifully restored to its
former glory, and is situated on Tulbagh's historic Church Street. The owners
of the guesthouse accommodation have taken great care to retain the authentic
atmosphere of this lovely home with its yellowwood floors, ceilings and grand
rooms, as well as the antiques and art that are on display througout the
guesthouse and in all the rooms.

The guesthouse interiors are a blend of Cape and European
antiques and furnishings, as well as original South African artworks, which
creates a beautiful eye-catching collection. The atmosphere at Cape Dutch
Quarters, Tulbagh Country Guest House is informal and comfortable, and guests
are encouraged to make themselves at home in the lounge, dining room and old
farm-style kitchen. We treat our guests as friends, and our visitor books sing
the praises from around the earth of those who have succumbed to the charm and
beauty of Cape Dutch Quarters.
BREAKFAST AT THE GUESTHOUSE
Breakfast at Cape Dutch Quarters Guest House is always a
treat. Served in the grand dining room on a table spread with antique crockery,
silver cutlery - and always accompanied by Mozart! Our guesthouse's 3-course
'Country Breakfast' has won appraisals in publications from several countries
such as the New Yorker magazine and the Lonely Planet. During the winter
months, breakfast is served in the guesthouse's more intimate farm-style kitchen
next to a blazing hearth.
